Joekskapellen are the foundation of the Venlose Vastelaovend and with the Joeksakademie we bring new talents together to learn to play together. The training program is for individuals and not intended for forming a new bandwagon. The new musicians are fanning out and spreading in Venlo among existing and possibly existing or newly started joekskapel and/or music associations. We arrived on September 22nd. started weekly rehearsals in groups (with the same instrument) or individually in which learning a staff and musical parts are taught. There is a distinction between musicians who already have some basis or musicians who start completely at the front. This is tailor-made for each person. There are musicians who are so enthusiastic and intend to join a young band and/or music association. All this is of course all about solidarity and connection, both at rehearsal. The musicians individually now also have a common red line in daily life, apart from the joeksakademie, which creates connections within the already existing joekskapelles and what is even better is that if the need is dire at X joekskapelle, the others can help out. The idea of ​​the Joeksakademie originated with a number of initiators/musicians, namely John Peters, Illja Parry, Jan Tebben and Jan Gatzen. They have been involved in the Venlose Music World for years and want to ensure that our band members are not lost in the future. To ensure that this culture does not die out, new growth of youth and/or elderly people who want to pick up the thread again is necessary. This ensures the continuation and preservation of our regional traditions. If you would like an opportunity to learn to make music for free in an accessible way and to learn to play an instrument yourself, please contact us and who knows, you might end up playing with the stars, whether or not in a huge band, that choice is entirely up to you. you.
The Blauwmark Foundation has been able to purchase several instruments that can be offered on loan.
